Schedule for the coming week

We are enjoying time at home with Logan. This morning, while he was eating breakfast, he looked around the room and said, "Where's all the doctors?" We told him that the doctors are at the hospital, that he's better for now, and we will see the nice doctors again soon.

Logan's post-surgical MRI showed that the tumor was 'completely' (>99%) removed. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers this week as Logan gets the following tests done (see below). We expect to know the extent of his cancer as well as a treatment plan by the end of the week.

Monday, August 16

3:00 p.m. Duke Radiology

Logan has spinal MRI with contrast

Pray that he will not need sedation (since general anesthesia is needed the next day) and that the spine is clear of tumors.

[Adam also has his 18 month checkup at 9:00 a.m. at Western Wake Pediatrics.]

Tuesday, August 17

9:00 a.m. Pediatric Specialty Clinic, Duke

Logan will receive under general anesthesia both a bone marrow aspiration and a spinal tap. Both tests will be done to determine if there are cancer cells in bone marrow or spinal fluid. Pray that there are no cancer cells, that he has no complications from anesthesia or the procedures, and for a quick recovery.

Wednesday, August 18

Consultation with Radiation Doctor in AM at Duke. Pray that the chemotherapy and radiation doctors can reach best treatment decision for Logan. Pray for wisdom for doctors and us (the parents).

Thursday, August 19

12:00 noon Duke South Clinic 2B

Followup visit with NeuroSurgery and stitches removed

Friday, August 20

Nothing!

We are thankful for all of your prayers!
