Home health

Logan came home yesterday! He has been eating well, and has been unusually playful and active since he got home. He hasn't thrown up since 2pm on Sunday!

Laura met with the home health nurse today. She gave Logan the first G-CSF shot. The shot is supposed to help his white blood cells recover from the chemo treatment he just had. The needle is only 1/4" long, and he didn't seem to mind too much. Laura also changed the dressing which covers the opening in his chest where the Hickman catheter comes out. It is a very detailed, sterile procedure. Logan was all smiles during the changing of the dressing. He really enjoyed laying on the kitchen table (we don't let the boys get up on the table)!

We heard from the oncologist today that the results of the spinal tap will not be in until tomorrow (Wednesday) night. This means that we will probably not get the results until our scheduled meeting with him on Thursday afternoon. We will send out an update with the news on Thursday night.

Love,

Knocker
