Home again

Hi all,

We had a great time at Disney World! We took lots of pictures and hope to put some on the web page soon. Logan and Adam were a little afraid of some of the rides at first, but eventually warmed up to them. We saw lots of fireworks, too, but probably the all-time favorite activity for both boys was playing in the water fountains (some of which were even designed for playing in :-). The weather was perfect for getting wet. We exhausted them each day, but it was good to see Logan so active (Adam is always active).

Logan's favorite "real" ride was probably the "Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin," with "Dumbo the Flying Elephant" a close second. Logan has sort of a default answer whenever he is presented with a question: "No". It is nearly always on the tip of his tongue. We were pleased to notice him saying "Yeah" a lot more as our time at Disney World progressed!

Adam's favorite had to be the "Country Bear Jamboree," a simple little show where mechanized bears sing and talk. After we saw it, at every other theatre-like place where we sat down, Adam would say, "Can we watch the bears?"

Right before we left for Disney, we found out that SAS (my employer) had decided to sponsor Logan's wish! I don't know exactly how it all happened (I think my manager spoke to someone in public relations), but SAS initiated contact with Make-A-Wish and sponsored Logan! We are very thankful for everyone's generosity.

We should know in about a week whether Logan's tumors have shrunk enough for him to get the bone marrow tranplant. We will update as soon as we find out the results of his MRI scheduled for Tuesday, the 18th. Our main prayer for Logan right now is that the tumors are still shrinking!

Love,
