No BMT

I am so sad to tell you that we got some terrible news. Transplant is not an option. It is worse than I could have imagined. Logan now has a 2cm tumor (the size of a golf ball) over the posterior fossa (an area that received high dose focal radiation before) it is starting to put pressure on his venticles again. (His oncologist asked if he was showing any symptoms of headache). The optic chiasm region is larger, too (Oncologist asked if vision seemed worse). The worst part is that he now has a 3/4 cm tumor in his temporal lobe--the hearing part of the brain. Also, 2 out of 3 tumors in the spine have stayed the same but one has grown larger (greater than 1cm now). His oncologist said Logan has proven to be resistant to both chemotherapy and radiation. Basically, he (oncologist) said he can only offer "palliative" care for Logan. This means he can't cure him but can try to buy him a little more time. Knocker and I both don't feel comfortable with this approach. Since all of the chemo has more side effects and won't cure his disease. We really need a miracle. Please pray for us and especially for Logan. I don't know what to ask for right now but God knows what we need. Thank you.
