Laura is pregnant

Yes, we have wonderful news! Even though we all have a terminal disease called sin, Jesus died and paid the penalty for us! All we have to do is trust in Him alone for our salvation and repent of our wicked ways, and He will save us from death!

"Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon."
Isaiah 55:6-7

Eternal life is yours for the asking. That's what I call good news!

In other good news, we are pregnant! We have actually been trying to get pregnant for about a year and a half now. We started trying for our third in November, 1998, when Adam was nine months old, and Logan had just turned two. We can see now that it was a good thing we didn't get pregnant right away, since it would have made Logan's care all that much more difficult (we found out about Logan's cancer five months later in April, 1999). Adam talks about Logan every day. He regularly points up and says, "Logan's in heaven," and "Logan's with Jesus." The other day he said, "Logan's in the clouds."

Adam also says, "Can we go to heaven?" We tell him, "Yes!" but then explain that we have to wait for Jesus to take us. We can't get there by ourselves! We don't know where it is, but we know the way! (John 14:5-6).

Interestingly, Laura's sister Julie is also pregnant, with twins!

God's timing is always perfect, but this is one example in which we can actually see it for ourselves! We praise you, Lord Jesus!

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
